Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software Test Team Leader to oversee our testing team in delivering high-quality software products. You will be responsible for leading test planning, execution, and reporting activities, ensuring the delivery of reliable software that meets customer and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of software test engineers in manual and automated testing.
• Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, and cases based on product requirements and design specifications.
• Oversee the execution of functional, regression, performance, integration, and system tests.
• Coordinate closely with development, product management, and DevOps teams to align testing efforts with release goals.
• Ensure defects are identified, tracked, and resolved efficiently; manage defect triage meetings.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and coverage.
• Provide leadership in test automation strategy and ensure the team is aligned with best practices.
• Prepare and present test progress reports, metrics, and quality KPIs to stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and project planning activities.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate testing team members to build a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, including 2+ years in a team lead or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman, QF test, Girkin, Typescript etc.).
• Proficiency with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Understanding and best practice use of testing engineering principles and familiarity with test development standards.
• Familiarity with principles and methodologies of diagnostic content unit and integration testing techniques.
• An interest in Automotive technologies.
