At our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland we design, develop and produce radial piston motors working in partnership with world renowned international OEM’s in industries such as material handling, construction and forestry machinery. Job Description
- Develop and improve the strategy plan and processes of the quality management system.
- Manage and drive the internal and external audit programmes.
- Lead multi-function teams to address improvement activities.
- Train staff in the understanding and use of quality management systems and communicate information on changes to all affected departments.
- Generate and distribute regular status reports on the performance of the quality management system.
- Ensuring quality standards and customer requirements are met through the provision of the quality management systems and associated procedures through regular reviews.
- Ensuring internal standards, systems and processes fall within the scope of the company’s quality management system.
- Responsible for managing the facilities document control system.
Qualifications
- Conversant in Microsoft Office products (Essential).
- Previous SAP and AHP experience would be preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in business systems and auditing within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience of cross functional departments within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
- Preferably IRQA registered and a member of CQI.
- Preferably a lead auditor in ISO9001.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Focused and task driven.
