Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • To deliver technical training on workshop diagnostic repair procedures, both electrical and mechanical, to a wide range of service technician and technical delegates.
  • Encourage a supportive learning environment, encouraging questions, utilising a variety of hands-on and instructor-based training methods.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with the project team, client, dealer network and course delegates.
  • Contribute to sharing knowledge with colleagues, learning from other experiences to ensure a consistent and professional approach to all training activities.
  • Support site operations at the client training facilities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective processes.
  • Responsible for supporting local maintenance issues and site compliance.
  • Maintain personal technical and training skills development and necessary qualifications including the requirement to attend manufacturer courses at home and abroad.
  • Ensure personal compliance regarding Bosch and Client central directives.
  • Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the business through expeditious and clear communication.
  • Contribute to regular meetings to evaluate all aspects of technical training with the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Advise on management of the vehicle training fleet ensuring correct and suitable vehicles for training delivery requirements including cleanliness.
  • Support the development of all course material and any new product training in line with client requirements.
  • Encourage delegate feedback post course to identify any areas for course development and equipment shortfall.
  • Control of stationary at the training facility including all printing and workbooks to ensure most cost-effective methods are adopted.
  • Continually assess training technology and methodology to ensure currency of training offer.
  • Contribute to the internal quality assurance of the technical training programme.

Qualifications

  • Possess proven technical training delivery skills.
  • Use balanced judgement and informed decision making in the delivery of their duties.
  • Be highly computer literate with a good working knowledge of MS applications.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of the automotive training business.
  • Be adept in developing and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the Bosch Mobility Aftermarket (MA) business.
  • Display, at all times, a customer oriented, service provider attitude and be a positive ambassador for the company.
  • Understand the goals and operating targets of the business and the way in which they contribute towards the success of Bosch MA within the UK.
  • Engage in the process of improving our business processes by contributing ideas and suggestions.
  • Communicate proactively and effectively at all levels, both externally and internally.
  • Be determined, energetic and flexible.
