Responsibilities
- Drive external Recruiting and HR outreach activities with area High Schools, Colleges, Universities, and Professional Associations.
- Responsible to create and maintain a talent pipeline of external talent.
- External Activities: Actively pursue and organize activities and engagements with area schools and professional associations per the HR strategy. Represent the company positively to drive candidates to apply online.
- Internal Engagement: Create and maintain a list of internal promoters that are willing to connect with future talent. Coordinate internal promoters to meet the students "where they are".
- Database (Pipeline): Develop a database for external talent. Work with Marketing to develop communications to keep in regular contact with the talent in the database.
- Internship Program: Propose and run the internship program, to include networking activities for interns and leadership, mentor the intern-driven charity event, organize end-of-internship presentations, etc. Handle all intern recruiting.
- Graduate Specialist Program: Recruit and track associates in the rotational development program. Align with leadership to organize the rotations and assist in final placement.
- Recruiting Support: Provide on-site recruiting support, as needed, to ensure a great candidate experience.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Psychology or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Experience professional with a minimum of 5 years Recruiting experience or working in a Human Resources Department.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and drive own results.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Proven leadership and business acumen skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of US employment laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to analyze problems, recommend and implement solutions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to present to large groups of people.
- Extraverted personality with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to easily network with others.
- Ability to drive to recruiting activities (travel approximately 25%).
- Understanding of hydraulics (valves and manifolds) will be a huge bonus.
