We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of English and Lead Practitioner of Literacy to join Robert Blake School at an exciting stage in its development.

The Role
As Teacher of English and Lead Practitioner of Literacy, you will:
- Teach high-quality English lessons and secure excellent outcomes for students.
- Lead the strategic development of literacy across the school.
- Champion reading, vocabulary development and disciplinary literacy across all curriculum areas.
- Support colleagues in embedding evidence-informed literacy practices within teaching and learning.
- Deliver coaching, modelling and professional development to staff.
- Promote a culture where literacy is everyone's responsibility.
- Develop and evaluate literacy interventions to improve student outcomes.
- Work closely with leaders, departments and colleagues across United Learning to deliver sustained improvement.
