About The Role

Robert Bird Group is seeking a friendly, organised and proactive Junior Receptionist & Catering Assistant to join our London office. This varied role combines front‑of‑house reception duties with catering and workplace support responsibilities, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for visitors, clients and employees while helping to maintain a well‑run and efficient office environment.

Duties

  • Welcome and assist visitors, clients and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer and direct telephone calls, take messages and respond to enquiries efficiently.
  • Manage general email correspondence and provide administrative support as required.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and prepare rooms for meetings and events.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries and couriers.
  • Maintain a tidy, welcoming and professional reception area.
  • Assist with the preparation and serving of refreshments for meetings and events.
  • Set up and clear down meeting rooms, catering areas and office events.
  • Ensure kitchen, catering and breakout spaces remain clean, organised and fully stocked.
  • Monitor and replenish refreshments, catering supplies and office consumables.
  • Support the delivery of internal events and office functions.
  • Comply with food hygiene, health and safety, and workplace standards at all times.
