The Opportunity
We are seeking to expand our Finance team with a Finance Assistant. You will be supporting a Senior Finance Assistant sharing the workload assisting the financial team's work. This is an exciting time for Robert Bird Group, as we go through expansion and have a growing portfolio of landmark buildings and infrastructure projects such as Olympia redevelopment, One Liverpool Street, Sydney Metro, HS2, One Leadenhall, One Waterloo development and many more.
Duties
- Posting of sales invoices to debtors' sub-ledger
- Posting of cash receipts to individual debtors' balances
- Monitoring & Documentation of debtors' balances
- Preparation of reconciliation to bank statements for submission to the Finance Manager
- Organising the capture of timesheet information from Production floor up to Directors' level
Experience and knowledge
- Previous experience working in a similar administrative role
- Basic Excel skills
- SAGE experience is beneficial but not mandatory
