Working Pattern: 9.00 to 15.05 Monday to Friday

Contract: Term-time plus 5 days INSET

Actual Salary: Β£18,200 per annum

Start Date: September 2026 or ASAP

Robert Barclay Academy is seeking to appoint a confident,motivated and enthusiastic Curriculum Teaching Assistant (Maths). This is anexciting opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for Mathematics andeducation to play a key role in raising standards of numeracy and supportingstudents to achieve their full potential in Maths. Whether you are anexperienced Teaching Assistant or a graduate considering a future in teaching,this role offers an excellent platform to develop your skills and make a realdifference.

What you will do:

  • Work alongside Maths teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning in the classroom
  • Provide targeted numeracy support for students, including small group and 1:1 interventions to improve numeracy outcomes
  • Help plan, prepare and organise Maths resources and learning activities
  • Support students of all abilities to build confidence, resilience and success in Maths
  • Contribute to the department's drive to raise achievement and close gaps in attainment
