We are now recruiting for an enthusiastic and reliable Service and Commissioning Engineer who will play a crucial role in the production of our electrical test machines. The role requires a hands-on approach, with an emphasis on quality, efficiency, and precision. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on teamwork and problem-solving, and you will have the opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive and close-knit team.
As our Service and Commissioning Engineer, you will be specifically responsible for:
- Commissioning new machines after they have been assembled by the production department, including fault finding down to component level to identify root causes and provide solutions.
- Interpreting technical mechanical/electrical drawings.
- Interfacing with our service engineers and collaborating with production and development team members to troubleshoot issues and improve machine performance.
- Assisting in machine upgrades, modifications, and customisations as required.
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
- Previous experience of a similar Commissioning Engineer role
- High level of IT competency
