We are looking for a skilled and reliable vehicle mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, inspections and repairs on a range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Key responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing and preventitive maintenance on vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out repairs on vehicle componants, including brakes, suspension , steering, exhausts, clutches and timing systems.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding vehicle faults and repairs.
- Keep up to date with modern vehicle technology, diagnostic equipment and repair techniques.
Skills
- A full driving licence is required.
- At least 3+ years experience preforming vehicle repairs/ Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanicals and electrical systems.
- Trained on diagnostic equipment accurately and efficiently or happy to go on courses to be trained/ and further training.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to high- quality workmanship
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Able to work well as a team and independently.
