Role Overview
As a Team Member you will be a key part of the day-to-day operations of the shop. This is a customer-facing, hands-on role that combines front-of-house service with food preparation and light cooking duties.
You’ll be expected to deliver friendly, efficient service while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Front of House
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions and cash/card payments.
- Answer customer questions about menu items, specials, and ingredients.
- Maintain clean, organised front-of-house and dining areas throughout the shift.
- Food Preparation & Kitchen Duties
- Prepare and cook chicken, sides and other menu items to company standards.
- Hand-bread and season chicken using our signature recipes.
- Assemble orders (e.g., baguettes, trays, boxed meals) with consistency and speed.
- Ensure all food items are fresh, correctly labelled and stored safely.
- Adhere to portion control and food quality expectations at all times.
Health, Safety & Hygiene
- Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Maintain clean, safe working environment in both kitchen and front of house.
- Report any hazards, incidents or customer feedback to management.
- Teamwork
- Work cooperatively with colleagues to support service flow and shift needs.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and managers.
- Assist with opening, closing and restocking duties when needed.
