The Senior PPC Account Executive’s primary role is to support the Paid Media Account Manager in the implementation and management of paid media tasks across client accounts in line with industry and agency best practices. You will be required to follow instruction on deliverables that will continuously grow and improve performance for our clients’ accounts. You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of these accounts, conducting regular optimisations and analysis, communicating performance to the Paid Media AM, working with media suppliers and managing daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting.
Responsibilities
- Campaign Strategy & Management
- To work closely with Account Managers, PPC Directors and Client Services to ensure strategy is correctly implemented across accounts
- Ensure all activity meets or exceeds the client’s performance expectations
- Ad copy creation and optimisation
- Keyword research, creation and optimisation
- Search Query Reports and Keyword expansions
- Bid optimisations
- Landing page reviews
- Review and implementation of targeting options
- To manage daily budgets and ensure that monthly spend is on target
- Compile daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports as required and ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Compile daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc analysis of account performance
- Manage tracking, trafficking and bid management through appropriate tools
- Show a clear understanding of the dynamics between key KPIs & comment on weekly performance fluctuations
- Proactively suggest tests and optimisations to improve account performance
- Media planning from campaign briefs in conjunction with the Account Manager to be presented back to the client.
- Direct line management of junior members of the Paid Media Department to ensure that work is delivered to an exceptional standard, on target and on time
- Training and development of junior team members to ensure that they are performing at the standard expected by ROAST and our clients
- Quality control of work conducted by junior members of the team
- Task and deliverable ownership, including delegation to juniors within the team and communicating to clients as relevant
- Supporting the Paid Media Account Managers with new business tasks which can include:
- KW and audience research
- Draft copy
- Slide creation
- When necessary, pitch attendance
The Candidate
We don't expect you to know everything on day one, but we really want to see:
- At least 12 months experience in Paid Search and / or Paid Social
- Experience with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Additional languages and/or knowledge of Javascript would be a bonus
- Passion about digital marketing
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Capability of independent research and learning
- Proactivity
- Excellent written and spoken English
