Roaming Roast is looking for someone to run our Borehamwood coffee truck at weekends. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Driving the tuktuk to its location from our storage facility.
- Lead barista throughout the day (you will be supported by another barista).
- Ensuring standards of quality and hygiene are upheld.
Hours:. 7.30-4pm Saturday and Sunday. There will always be additional hours available during the week should you wish to take them but this is not required.. .
You must have held a full driving licence for 2 years and be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes.

Our ideal candidate is someone who has multiple years of experience as a barista and someone who is able to demonstrate their ability think and act independently. As a small business, you'll wear many hats other than just barista.. As we’re an outdoor coffee truck, someone who enjoys being out in all weathers essential and being a practical problem solver is highly desirable.. . Desired experience
Minimum 1 year full time (or part time equivalent) experience as a speciality coffee barista is essential. Someone who is crack on and do without needing to be asked. Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities. Excellent Communication skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A team player who's known for being on time and reliable. A physically practical person who is prepared to attempt to fix things when they're broken. Resilience and adaptability is essential. Someone who enjoys the outdoors is highly advantageous due to the nature of our business.
