Junior Finance Assistant

ROAM Agency is an independent global artist booking agency. Representing over 800 artists globally, with offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Paris and Glasgow, the company arranges artist’s concerts from club to festival headline level worldwide. Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Accurately record bank transactions on QuickBooks.
• Update internal spreadsheets and booking software, ensuring all financial movements are captured.
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in the reconciliations of our client ledger account.
• Chase outstanding deposits with external promoters.
• Process and distribute artist statements as required, supporting the wider finance team.
• Provide general ad‑hoc administrative support to the wider finance team and senior management.

Key Attributes

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines and manage a busy workload effectively.
• Good work ethic with a professional and friendly manner.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High degree of computer literacy, especially with Excel, and confidence in learning new software.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting is beneficial but not essential.
• Ideally, 12 months of experience in a junior accounting or finance role.

Basis

Monday – Friday, 9:30 am – 5:30 pm. (Hybrid working: Tuesday – Thursday in the office)
