We're recruiting for a Tractor Driver/Mechanic/Machinery Maintenance person for a farm in Devon, EX13. An exciting new job vacancy has arisen on an 800-acre family farm, with a mixture of beef finishing, breeding ewe flock, suckler cows, and arable. Our client seeks an experienced, enthusiastic tractor driver to undertake a variety of tasks associated with arable and grassland management.
- TMR feeding of cattle (using a Keenan and Pace system)
- Ploughing cultivation
- Dung hauling
- Foraging
- Grain hauling
- Tractors
- JCBs
- Cultivation of grassland
The farm operates a range of modern machinery. The ability to maintain and service it, along with an HGV licence, would be an advantage. Some assistance with livestock tasks will be required; some interest in livestock is essential. Training can be provided in any area requiring development.
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum DOE
Plus:

Accommodation: A local family house in the village at £700 P/M plus bills. Or Parkhome onsite at £75 per week plus bills for a single person or a couple.
Hours: 07:30 - 18:00 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday. Could be flexible on days and times.
