We have a great new vacancy for a Pig Stockperson to join a farm in North Yorkshire, YO7. The chosen candidate will join a team on a farrow-to-finish pig enterprise on a 700-sow indoor unit. There will be a variety of duties, predominantly overseeing the weaners and finishers, as well as any other tasks associated with the unit.

Ideally, two years of experience is preferred; however, training can be provided for those with less experience. Candidates must demonstrate:

  • Eagerness to learn
  • A strong work ethic
  • Enthusiasm for the pig industry
  • High welfare standards
  • Team-player abilities
  • Experience with tractors, trailers, telehandlers, etc., is preferred but not essential

Salary: £35,000, including OT DOE. Salary negotiable for the right person.
