Pig Stockperson

We are recruiting an outdoor Pig Stockperson for a farm in Nottinghamshire, DN22.

The chosen candidate will work with a long-established family farming business that has 600 sows on an outdoor pig unit in North Nottinghamshire, producing 7kg weaners on a contract basis.

Person specifications:

• Good stockmanship skills
• An eye for detail
• The ability to maintain accurate records
• Tractor driving experience required
• Self-motivation and the ability to work under one\’s own initiative alongside the unit manager to achieve production targets
• A positive attitude

Salary: £28,000 – 32,000 DOE

Plus:

• 2-bed cottage
• Workplace pension
• 20 days\’ annual Holiday entitlement (20 days plus bank holidays or days off in lieu)

Hours: 07:00 to 17:00 with alternate weekends off.
