We\βre recruiting a Pig Stockperson to join a progressive indoor pig farm based in Aberdeenshire, AB51.
This forward-thinking business continues to invest in modern facilities and management systems, ensuring efficient, high-welfare production.
As part of a dedicated team, you\βll be involved in all aspects of running a 500-sow indoor unit, covering everything from breeding through to finishing.
Person Specification
Entry-Level Candidates:
Ideally, you\βll have some experience with pigs or livestock β full training can be provided.
Experienced Candidates:
Confident in all areas of breeding management, from AI through to farrowing.
All Applicants Should:
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Work well within a team
- Demonstrate strong animal welfare standards
- Have basic maintenance skills
- Experience with tractors or telehandlers would be advantageous, though not essential
Salary: Up to Β£30,000 DOE
Package Includes:
- 3-bedroom house provided rent-free (tenant pays electricity)
