We are recruiting for an Outdoor Pig Manager for a farm in Oxfordshire, OX10.

Our client is an outdoor pig producer operating multiple sites, producing 8kg weaners on a batch system to a high welfare standard.

The pig farm manager will oversee all activities on a 1000-sow unit.

The producer is looking for someone, ideally, with management experience but will consider those with less as long as they demonstrate excellent pig husbandry skills and the ability to step up.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • Excellent all-round experience in all aspects of pig husbandry
  • Team player and leadership abilities as will be working closely with other members of the team
  • Attention to detail to ensure efficient running of the farm
  • High welfare standards at all times

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE
