We're recruiting a Pig Farm Worker for an indoor/outdoor pig farm in Norfolk (NR17). This is an excellent job opportunity for someone new to the pig industry. Agricultural experience preferred. Any experience is welcome; however, full training will be provided if needed. This family-run modern business offers a pig stockperson or farm worker the opportunity to work on both indoor and outdoor units, working with weaners through to finishers. They look after 13,000 outdoor pigs and 7,500 indoor pigs.
Job role:
- Day-to-day mucking out
- Feeding
- Strawing down
- Movement of pigs
- Maintaining the highest welfare standards at all times
- Daily checks of livestock
- Administrating medication
- Operating farm machinery
