We're recruiting for a Pig Stockperson for an indoor unit in Yorkshire, YO25.
The producer is looking for an experienced pig stockperson with strong hands-on breeding knowledge who shows enthusiasm and a passion for working in the pig industry.
Duties include
- Working as part of a dedicated team across different departments of this breeding-to-weaning unit
- Farrowing
- Serving
- Piglet care
- Weaning
- Loading
- Mucking out
- Power washing
- Assisting with the general responsibilities of the unit
About You
- Experience working with pigs, particularly breeding
- Good physical fitness - the role involves strenuous manual tasks
- Ability to follow procedures with attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Hours
Full-time position, Monday to Friday 06:00 - 15:00, working 1 in 3 weekends.
