We are recruiting an indoor Pig Stockperson for a farm in Lancashire (PR3). The family-run farm has been operating and growing since the 1990s and now needs a new team member for its 350-sow breeding-to-finishing unit.

Person specification:

  • Ability & eagerness to work across all areas of pig production
  • Ideally, good experience in a farrowing house and the workings of a pig farm, but on-the-job training can be given to the right candidate
  • Highest welfare and care standards
  • Attention to detail and motivated for excellent performance
  • Able to work every other weekend
  • Able to work approximately 50 hours per week
  • Must have a driving license and a car
  • A Telehandler certificate would be ideal, but not essential

Salary guide: £35,000 - 45,000 DOE
