We're recruiting for a part-time Pig Stockperson in Bedfordshire, MK45. The unit consists of 2 naturally ventilated sheds, rearing high-health breeding gilts on contract from 4 to 21 weeks old in a continuous-flow system. The job will entail assisting the Senior Stockperson with the daily routine, plus any of the following: Vaccinations on-the-job training will be provided 31 days holiday per year, including bank holidays (pro-rata) ~ Overtime ~ Workplace pension Part-time: a minimum of two days per week, 08:00 - 17:00, but may vary; Working every other weekend: hours would be approximately between 08:00 - 12:00 Cover holidays where possible Our client has a strict policy that anyone entering the pig unit must be free of pig contact for 72 hours, so please do not apply if you are in regular contact with other pigs.
