Road Management Services (A13) Plc (RMS) is a Public-Private Partnership project company responsible for delivering the obligations under the A13 Thames Gateway DBFO Contract with Transport for London. RMS oversees the operation and maintenance of a 25-kilometre stretch of the A13, a key transport artery in London, and conducts major bridge construction projects along the route.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Greater London for a Highway Inspector. The role involves conducting routine and ad hoc inspections of the A13 to monitor road conditions and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying and reporting hazards
- Supervising maintenance activities
- Coordinating with contractors
- Preparing inspection records
- Contributing to hazard prevention strategies to ensure road user safety and compliance with regulations
Qualifications:
- LANTRA Highway inspection training
- NRSWA supervisor training
- Experience in Highway Inspection, supervision, Health & Safety practices and Hazard Analysis

- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to road maintenance and safety
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
