About the Role
As a Public Affairs Executive, you'll play a key role in delivering impactful political engagement strategies and helping RHA remain a leading voice in transport and logistics. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll gain hands-on experience in supporting campaigns, monitoring political developments, and engaging with influential stakeholders across government and industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the delivery of RHA’s public affairs strategy across multiple policy areas.
- Monitoring Parliament and identifying opportunities for engagement (e.g., Select Committees, APPGs, Departmental Questions).
- Assisting with the planning, research, and delivery of high-impact campaigns.
- Preparing political briefings, internal updates, and insightful horizon-scanning reports.
- Helping to coordinate stakeholder events and MP visits to RHA members.
- Maintaining stakeholder databases and helping shape strategic messaging.
- Contributing to consultation responses, position papers, and advocacy reports.

- A strong understanding of UK politics, Parliamentary procedure, and current affairs.
- Demonstrable interest or experience in public affairs, campaigns, or policy research.
