The CSA Design Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating all Civil, Structural and Architectural design activities on large-scale industrial projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to ensure design deliverables meet both construction and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage CSA design deliverables in line with construction and client requirements.
- Coordinate all CSA design matters between stakeholders including clients, specialist designers, sub-contractors, and the project team.
- Oversee key milestone deliverables, ensuring quality of design, implementation, and coordination of design changes.
- Conduct design meetings with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors.
- Handover CSA design packages to the project team.
- Provide communication and support to the project team with all necessary design information for construction.
- Support the BIM team in the BIM coordination process.
- Review and control construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
- Manage the preparation of As-built design packages with the project team.
- Carry out quality control during construction through site visits.
- Report weekly and monthly design status updates.
Proven experience in CSA design management, ideally within large industrial buildings or complex infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of design coordination processes and quality assurance standards. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with BIM processes and digital design coordination. Ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
