Role overview
As a civils operative/labourer, you’ll play a key role in supporting activities on the public highway and footway. Working closely with skilled operatives and supervisors, you’ll help ensure the safe and efficient delivery of civils works to support fibre and utility network builds.
- Assist with excavation, trenching, and reinstatement of surfaces
- Maintain safe working environments through proper use of equipment in line with NRSWA
- Keep work sites clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Support the gang leader and team with day-to-day site tasks and logistics
- Report hazards and incidents promptly in line with company procedures
