RES Games Lecturer

Rotherham Education Services (RES) supply casual and temporary staffing to the RNN Group. The RNN Group consists of Rotherham, Dearne Valley and North Notts colleges.

The Role

Shape the game developers and tech leaders of tomorrow. We are seeking passionate Gaming Educators to deliver dynamic Level 3 and Higher Education programmes, specifically targeting critical skills in games programming, AI for games, and interactive software development.

Hours

Monday 4.5 Tuesday 7 Wednesday 3 Thursday 7 Friday 3

You will:

  • Hold a teaching qualification or be actively working towards one.
  • Hold an appropriate level professional or academic qualification in games development, computer science, or a relevant computing discipline.
  • Have hands-on experience with game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity), and software development methodologies.
  • Be well organised and able to efficiently manage your own workload, including essential academic administrative functions.
