Key Responsibilities

  • Audit the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) to maintain a dynamic, future‑ready platform, conducting regular User‑Experience (UX) audits from a student's perspective.
  • Provide frontline pedagogical support to teaching staff, assisting in the integration of digital tools and generative AI into daily classroom delivery.
  • Design and deliver engaging workshops and bespoke one‑to‑one coaching "surgeries" tailored to varying digital literacy levels.
  • Participate actively in the Group’s quality cycle, supporting digital "Learning Walks" and "Deep Dives" and translating observations into immediate coaching interventions.
  • Partner with academic teams to co‑design future‑ready course content optimized for student engagement, retention, and employability.
  • Maintain excellence and user experience of the VLE.

Qualifications & Expertise

  • Experience working within further or higher education, or a training environment, with a strong understanding of how digital tools drive student achievement.
  • High confidence with VLE platforms, creative digital asset creation, generative AI applications, and immersive technologies such as VR/AR or 360‑degree video production.
  • Exceptional communication skills: ability to translate complex technical concepts into jargon‑free, actionable steps for beginners while challenging early adopters.
  • Enthusiastic, empathetic, tech‑fluent changemaker who thrives on helping others succeed.
