As a Lecturer in Electrical Installations, you won’t just be teaching; you’ll be mentoring. You will deliver high-impact training across Level 1-3 study programmes, adult courses, and apprenticeships. From the technical complexities of the workshop to the digital tools of the modern classroom, you will provide the spark that turns a student into a professional.

Your Qualifications:
- A Level 3 Vocational Qualification in Electrical Installations (e.g., 2365, 2357, 5357, Gold Card or equivalent).
- Desirable 2391, Inspection and Test & BS 7671 Wiring Regulations
- A teaching qualification and Assessor award (or the drive and willingness to work towards them while on the job).
- Level 2 English and Maths (or a commitment to achieve these with our support).
Department Info
You’ll never be working in a silo. Based at our Rotherham campus, you’ll be a vital part of a dedicated curriculum team. You will be supported by a Curriculum Manager and work daily with Curriculum Team Leaders who understand the nuances of construction education. You’ll also collaborate with a wide net of professionals—including Technicians, Work Placement Officers, and Personal Development Coordinators—all dedicated to one thing: the success of our learners.
