We’re looking for a Selections Analyst to join the Marketing Data and Systems Team. We use data and technology to improve performance and inform data-driven decisions.
The team supports customers throughout Fundraising, Marketing and Media to efficiently deliver the data selection and marketing communication programme. Ensuring our data is current and remains GDPR compliant.
You will be the point of contact in the team for the briefing of new campaigns, you will be working collaboratively with colleagues to understand and inform their activities, refining their aims into actionable requirements for an effectively targeted campaign.
You will be responsible for generating selections in our campaign management software: FastStats. You will fulfil finalised data selections and segmentations, ensuring data is delivered accurately, in the required format, and to schedule.

Your role
As a Selections Analyst, you will be responsible for generating selections in our campaign management software: FastStats. Providing both analysis and selections to support and inform the RNLI’s fundraising decision-making processes.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
– Work across the selections & analysis process, whether that is preparing, analysing or managing data, selecting records or making recommendations to our stakeholders
– Use a tool set that includes FastStats and Excel
– Work with other analysts and subject matter experts on key projects
About you
You’ll be comfortable using data tools to generate analytics and selections for decision makers who are shaping the future of the RNLI.
To be considered as our Selections Analyst, you will need:
– A highly accurate work style with excellent attention to detail
– Experience in the use of CRM systems
– Experience of using campaign management software such as FastStats, and advanced experience of using Excel, including formulas and data manipulation
– Desirable: Experience in fundraising or a direct marketing environment
– Desirable: Experience in working with FastStats Discoverer
