The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is a charity providing a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service and a seasonal lifeguard service. Our crews and lifeguards need a dedicated, professional, and talented team behind them.
We ensure boats and equipment are manufactured, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards regardless of weather conditions.
We are currently recruiting for the role of Fabrication/Fitter Section Leader at our Inshore Lifeboat Centre (ILC) on the Isle of Wight. This role involves managing the workshop\’s efficient operation, fabrication, and assembly, contributing to the production of new build and refit lifeboats.

About The Role
You will work closely with other Section Leaders involved in the production line, report progress at relevant meetings, and be responsible for the performance management of your team via the RNLI RADAR system. Motivating your team, engaging in practical workshop tasks, managing health and safety, and continuously improving work practices are essential responsibilities.
