Company Description

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) is a charity that saves lives at sea, with 95% of its workforce comprised of volunteers. The RNLI provides a 24-hour search and rescue service from 238 lifeboat stations around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland, as well as seasonal lifeguard services on over 240 UK and Channel Island beaches. With a strong emphasis on sea and beach safety, the RNLI collaborates with international organizations to prevent drownings.

Role Description

This is a temporary Regional Technician role located in the South East Region (Southend/Thames to Swanage including the Isle of Wight) at the RNLI. The Regional Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and installations of lifeboat and lifeguard equipment and facilities at designated lifeboat stations and support centres. They will also conduct regular inspections, manage inventory, and provide technical support as needed.

  • Experience in maintenance, repairs, and installations of equipment
