An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Business Lead to join the Portfolio team, which supports the RNLI through delivery of all projects and programmes. We’re looking for an operational expert to play a pivotal role in embedding major change initiatives in the Service Led Operating Model programme, bringing deep expertise from key service areas to ensure projects deliver high‑quality, meaningful outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to shape how we evolve, influence strategic decisions, and ensure change lands successfully across the organisation.

Your Role

  • Providing subject‑matter expertise for operational services, ensuring decisions are grounded in operational reality and strategic priorities.
  • Acting as the bridge between the project team and operational stakeholders, ensuring that change is understood and embedded effectively.
  • Working closely with project teams to ensure the outcomes, sequencing and timing of delivery align to the overall programme and any blockers to progress are removed.
  • Assessing business readiness for change, identify gaps, and work with stakeholders to prepare people, processes, and systems for implementation.
