Working as part of our Applications Development team, you will have the opportunity to explore new technologies, influence technical decisions and improve how we design, build and deliver software. - Share your knowledge, contribute ideas and support other developers as part of a collaborative and welcoming team.
- Stay curious about emerging technology and help identify where it could deliver genuine value for the RNLI.
About you

You will bring:
- Professional experience developing web applications using front-end and back-end technologies.

- The ability to work collaboratively, explain technical ideas clearly and contribute positively to a multidisciplinary team.
- A practical, user-focused approach to solving problems, with curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm for learning.
- A degree in computer science, information technology or a related subject, or equivalent practical experience.
It would be an advantage, but is not essential, if you have:
- Experience developing solutions using Sitecore or another enterprise content management system.
- Experience with headless CMS platforms, composable architectures or decoupled front-end applications.
- Strong commercial experience with .NET and C#.
- Experience building applications with Vue or React.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based application development.
- Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL.
- Experience creating automated tests and working with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- An understanding of web security, performance optimisation and recognised accessibility standards.
- Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
Most importantly, you will enjoy working with others, experimenting with ideas and creating digital experiences that make complicated tasks feel simple.
