We are looking for a Regional Maintenance Planner to join our Lifesaving Operations team in Scotland. This role supports the RNLI by supporting the Regional Maintenance Team to ensure repairs and maintenance are carried out, ensuring lifeboats, launch equipment and lifeguard equipment are always safe and available for use. This role will be based at our Regional Base in Perth, Scotland.

Your role:
As a Regional Maintenance Planner, you will be tasked with focusing on the following areas:
- To provide support within Lifesaving Operations to the Regional Technical cell and In-Service Support Team. This will include, but not be limited to, AX resource planning and scheduling for preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and modifications.
- Support the management of remote warehouses for Lifesaving Operations and complete stock control activities within AX to ensure accurate data records.
- Manage and organise the receipt, dispatch and return of store items, to support all RNLI elements.
- Act as a support function for enquiries and issues, such as the supply of parts and maintenance bills of materials relating to the In-Service Support function in the region.
- Work in partnership with other Lifesaving & Engineering teams to ensure bill of materials, modification kitting, forecasting and parts/materials routings information is undertaken.
- Assist with generating monthly KPI reporting.
About you:
You will be a good communicator who is organised and works well under pressure. You will enjoy working as part of a team, but will be able to work in isolation without direct supervision. To be considered as the Regional Maintenance Planner, you will need:
- Education to A Level, Engineering BTEC/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), or suitable experience.
- Experience of working in an engineering environment (desirable).
- Experience in store management.
- Extensive IT experience and aptitude, including experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience in coordinating and planning resources.
