Job Description Strategic Finance Business Partner \n Salary : Up to £65,410 (dependent on experience)\n Contract type: Permanent\n Hours: Full-time\n Location: This will be a hybrid role with a working arrangement between home and Poole support centre.\n \nWe are looking for a Strategic Finance Business Partner to join our team and work as part of the RNLI Business Partnering community, providing financial management, insight, decision support, and analysis to support the RNLI. Providing constructive, commercial, and cost-effective financial support and expertise to help the RNLI deliver our Lifesaving Effect, ensure we spend donors' money wisely, and deliver value for money.\n Some of the benefits \n \n- Salary up to £65,410 (dependent on experience)\n \n- Flexible working\n \n- 26 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata)\n \n- Outstanding pension scheme\n \n- Life assurance\n \n- Health and dental cashplan option\n Your role \n \nAs a Strategic Finance Business Partner, you will provide first-class financial decision support, planning and analysis to departments and major projects within the RNLI, providing the right information to the right people, at the right time, for the right decisions.\n \nAs Strategic Finance Business Partner, you will:\n \n- Build relationships with and provide full financial guidance and support service to your customers\n \n- Lead the departments on financial planning and forecasting\n \n- Attend relevant departmental and project meetings, ensuring there is a finance presence where appropriate\n \n- Deliver regular financial reports and ad-hoc financial analysis for your customers, finance department and external auditors\n About you \n \nOur ideal candidate will have:\n \n- A strong background in financial decision support and planning in a similar fast-paced environment\n \n- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence at senior levels, and experience in providing constructive challenge as required\n \n- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel\n \nThis role will also line manage and work with a Finance Business Partner, who will help you with all aspects of decision support and planning, so staff management experience is also essential.\n \nIn return for your passion and expertise, you will receive an excellent benefits package (see Summary of Benefits document for more details), as well as the knowledge that your skills and experience are helping the RNLI to Save Every One.\This will include relevant criminal record checks being carried out, dependent on the eligibility of the role.
