An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join our busy site in Gateshead to work within the Specialist Production team. The team is responsible for the production of a variety of documents and publications in large print, braille, and audio.
Reporting to the Specialist Production Print/Audio Lead, your main responsibilities will include:
- Producing a varied range of products in accessible formats including Braille, Audio, and Large Print.
- Delivering the allocated production work to meet agreed production schedules.
- Working with speed and accuracy whilst maintaining agreed quality standards.
- Packing goods ready for shipment.
- Operating production line equipment e.g., packing machines and commercial printers.
- Cleaning and maintaining work areas and machinery.
