We are recruiting for a premium bakery and patisserie business in Central London, producing fresh croissants, viennoiserie, Danish pastries, cookies and other premium baked goods , alongside freshly prepared premium sandwiches.

This is an early-start bakery production role .

You will be one of the first team members on site, producing and preparing large volumes of fresh products ready for the shop opening and throughout the day.

You'll work within a small, fast-paced kitchen , so you must be highly organised, comfortable multitasking and able to manage several stages of production simultaneously.

The Role

  • Prepare and bake large volumes of croissants, Danish pastries, viennoiserie, cookies and other sweet and savoury baked goods .
  • Ensure fresh bakery products are produced efficiently and ready for shop opening and daily requirements .
  • Finish pastries using glazing, piping, creams, icing and other finishing techniques .
  • Prepare and assemble premium sandwiches according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Complete sandwich prep , including preparing ingredients and components required for daily production.
  • Manage multiple tasks across baking, pastry finishing, sandwich production and food preparation .
  • Work efficiently and confidently within a small bakery kitchen where space can be limited .
  • Keep your workstation clean, organised and fully stocked throughout production.
  • Operate commercial bakery equipment, including ovens and mixers.
  • Follow recipes and production processes accurately to maintain consistent quality and presentation.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a

Baker, Pastry Baker, Viennoiserie Baker, Production Baker or within a similar commercial bakery / pastry production environment .

  • Experience producing croissants, viennoiserie, Danish pastries or similar fresh bakery products .
  • Comfortable working with high-volume production and early-morning deadlines.
  • Confident with commercial ovens, mixers and other bakery equipment.
  • Comfortable preparing premium sandwiches and general food prep alongside bakery production.

Highly organised and confident multitasking in a small, busy kitchen.

  • Good attention to detail and consistent product standards.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a small team.
  • Food Hygiene Certification preferred but not essential.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK .
  • Working Hours

5 shifts per week on a rotating rota.

  • Start times may include

5:00am, 6:00am or 9:00am , depending on location and rota.

  • Approximately

8–9 hours per shift .

  • Weekend and bank holiday availability is required.
  • Weekly rota published in advance.
  • You will usually be based at one Central London location, with occasional cover at another site if required.
