Do you work in a busy bakery or patisserie where you pipe, fill and finish hundreds of products every day? Are you confident working at speed with different creams, ganaches, fillings, piping nozzles and techniques, while keeping every product consistently beautiful? We're looking for an experienced Bakery & Patisserie Decorator / Piping Specialist to join a premium patisserie business in Central London. This is a high-volume decoration role, primarily working with premium doughnuts and pastries. Your creations will be seen by customers throughout the day and regularly photographed and showcased on the brand's Instagram and other social media channels.
The Role
- You'll be filling, piping and finishing premium products in an open-kitchen environment, visible to customers, so you should feel confident working in public while maintaining a professional appearance and an immaculate workstation.
- High-volume piping using different creams, ganaches and fillings.
- Working with different piping techniques and nozzles.
- Filling, glazing, piping and finishing premium doughnuts and pastries.
- Producing large volumes while maintaining speed, precision and consistency.
- Following recipes and decoration standards accurately.
- Keeping your workstation clean, organised and presentable throughout the day.
We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong professional piping skills – essential.
- Experience with high-volume piping and decoration.
- Confidence working with different creams, ganaches, fillings, textures and piping techniques.
- Experience within a busy bakery, patisserie or pastry production environment.
- Ability to work quickly without compromising presentation or consistency.
- A professional, presentable approach and confidence working in view of customers.
- Right to work in the UK.
Experience with doughnuts, choux, éclairs, cupcakes, individual pastries, macarons or other premium patisserie products would be particularly relevant.
