Its customers include major UK retailers, as well as large to medium foodservice and wholesale operators. With a global supply network spanning the UK, Europe, and the Far East, the business offers a wide range of products, including coated poultry such as chicken and duck, chicken skewers, and more. Known for innovation, it brings new concepts to market and provides bespoke solutions tailored to customer needs.
Role Overview
The company is seeking a Senior NAM / BDM to drive sales growth by securing new large accounts across both foodservice and retail channels. This role will focus primarily on generating new business while also managing key accounts once established.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure new large accounts in foodservice and retail channels
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to post-sale relationship management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends
- Work closely with NPD, operations, and supply chain teams to drive new project launches and ensure timely, seamless delivery to meet customer expectations
- Represent the business at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to management
Skills & Experience
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals within the frozen food industry, ideally in frozen poultry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results against ambitious targets
- Comfortable managing accounts independently while also thriving as part of a team
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to spot opportunities
- Experience working with major retail and/or foodservice buyers
