We are thrilled to announce exciting new positions for skilled Paint Technicians in our newly refurbished, state-of-the-art workshop. Join our team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional vehicle paint repairs, ensuring our clients receive nothing but the highest standard of service.

Salary: £21.00 per hour.
About the role:
Working under the supervision and co-ordination of the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out any necessary minor paint work repairs using small, medium area repair technology (SMART) to ensure vehicles are in pristine condition prior to dispatch and that all vehicles comply with company standards and health and safety regulations.
Key responsibilities of the Role:
- To prepare and carry out any necessary paint repairs.
- To ensure that all vehicles are painted to the manufacturers required standard using appropriate repair techniques (SMART).
- To ensure materials are used within the manufacturer’s instruction and minimal usage for effective repair.
- To remove and replace / Fit protector mouldings, transfers and decals.
- To apply finishing materials, water and solvency based materials.
- To carry out masking and sanding procedures.
- To prepare substrate for refinishing.
- To apply colour matching techniques and to carry out paint rectification and touch up work.
- To carry out buffering and burnishing.
- To inspect paint and trim work to ascertain recommended repair procedures.
- To maintain the upkeep of all workshop tools and equipment.
- To ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
- To undertake any other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function.
About you:
To be successful, you must be over 22 years old, possess a valid driver’s license with fewer than 6 penalty points, and have no DR10 offenses for insurance purposes. The ideal candidate will have a NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle spraying or similar. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in vehicle paint spraying. The ideal candidate will be required to pass a skills test where they will be tested on Colour Matching Techniques, Paint rectification and touch up work using both Water and Solvency based materials. The ideal candidate will have basic understanding of health and safety and cooperate with managers to comply with Health & Safety regulations.
