As Creative Director at RMS, you'll own the creative vision and visual identity that defines how we show up to the world — across campaigns, web, video, product marketing, and employer brand. Based in the UK and working closely with the CMO, you'll set the craft standard globally, translating business strategy into work that is distinctive, consistent, and built to perform. You'll lead a small in-house creative team and orchestrate a bench of agencies, studios, and freelancers to deliver at the pace and scale a growing global SaaS business demands.

What you'll be doing:

  • Owning the RMS brand expression end-to-end — logo system, colour, typography, imagery, motion principles — and evolving it so it remains modern and unmistakably RMS.
  • Translating campaign strategy into big ideas: concepts, key visuals, and creative platforms that run across multiple channels and regions, in close partnership with Integrated Campaigns and Product Marketing.
  • Leading the creative direction of rmscloud.com and related digital properties — site architecture, page design, and conversion flows — balancing brand craft with performance and accessibility.
  • Directing RMS's video and motion output from concept through to post-production, including brand films, campaign ads, customer stories, and social cut‑downs.
  • Partnering with Product Marketing to turn complex product capabilities into clear, compelling visual stories — product screens, explainer videos, and launch creative.
  • Building and managing the external creative bench — agencies, studios, and freelancers — briefing, directing, and holding them to a high standard of work and delivery.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a small in-house creative team, setting a clear craft bar and growing each person in their role.
  • Owning the creative budget and intake process, balancing in‑house capacity and external partners to deliver quality within allocated spend.

What you'll bring:

  • 8–12 years in creative leadership roles (Creative Director, Art Director, Design Lead, or equivalent), with a portfolio that spans brand, campaign, content, and video or motion work.
  • 3+ years managing designers, writers, and/or motion talent, plus demonstrated experience directing external agencies and production partners.
  • Strong design craft with deep working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud — able to both direct work and roll up your sleeves when needed.
  • Hands‑on experience directing video and motion projects end‑to‑end: briefing, storyboarding, reviewing edits, and managing production partners.
  • Strong web and digital design experience — site architecture, landing pages, conversion flows, and a fluency working with developers on modern web stacks.
  • Writing, editing, and art‑direction instincts strong enough to guide copy as well as visual work.
  • B2B SaaS background expected; hospitality, travel, or property technology experience a plus.
  • A practical, curious approach to AI‑assisted design and production workflows — you're exploring what's possible without losing sight of brand and quality standards.
  • Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with marketing, product, sales, and HR, and to make the case for creative decisions with senior stakeholders.
