RMS is working with an outstanding automotive client; we are looking for several Valets to join our team. Our client is well-known for providing vehicle storage, inspection, maintenance, dispatch, and transportation facilities.

About the role
Working under the supervision and coordination of the Compound Manager and Team Leader, you will be required to valet all workshop vehicles to a high standard within allocated timeframes, before dispatch to auction.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Valet all workshop vehicles to the expected standard, in preparation for dispatch.
- Valet each vehicle within the allocated timeframes.
- Locate the vehicle once valeted, and assist in the yard whenever necessary.
- Keep all areas in the valeting workshops clean and tidy.
- Complete all relevant paperwork and report any discrepancies.
- Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Undertake other duties as directed, commensurate with the level of the job function.
Weekly shift rotation: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm, Monday – Friday.
About you
- You must hold a valid driving licence with less than 6 penalty points and no DR offences for insurance purposes.
- A level-headed approach must be taken when valeting and driving vehicles to ensure your own safety and the safety of colleagues.
- Use of initiative is necessary to ensure all vehicles are distributed meeting quality standards.
- Ability to work independently but liaise effectively with colleagues and support each department to maintain quality.
