Exciting News! We have a new opportunity to join a state-of-the-art workshop team. Due to rapid growth we are looking for a skilled administrator to support with the day-to-day operation of the workshop.
Location: Corby
Position: Technical Coordinator (Mechanical)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Day shift.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Β£15.50p/h, weekly pay.
Looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? You will be responsible for coordinating technical activity, planning workshop schedules, managing workshop administration, and ensuring that vehicles are prioritised and processed efficiently to meet customer and contractual KPIs:
About the Role:
- Provide comprehensive support to the Technical Manager in the day-to-day operation of the workshop.
- Plan and load workshop schedules, prioritising vehicles to meet customer KPIs, including recalls, warranty work, Royal Mail, Police, company vehicles, Jemca and TGB requirements.
- Lead workshop administration, working closely with administrative and key account leads to ensure efficient workflow and accurate reporting.
- Coordinate and prioritise technical activity for non-starting vehicles and flat battery cases to minimise dropped loads.
- Utilise technical documentation and manufacturer systems to identify and validate recall requirements.
- Maintain and update technical activity and compound services using 20/20 systems.
- Raise and manage job cards to support technical and workshop activities.
- Operate and manage workshop management systems extensively, including Auto Soft, 20/20 Service Box, and EXteq Optimus.
About you:
- Previous experience in a workshop, technical coordination, service administration, or automotive operational role.
- Experience planning and scheduling workshop workloads to meet KPIs and customer requirements.
- Working knowledge of vehicle recalls, warranty processes, and technical documentation.
- Strong IT skills with confidence using multiple systems simultaneously.
