This vacancy represents a fantastic chance to join a respected industry leader, known for delivering high-quality projects across the UK. Role: Quality Manager Location: Middlesborough Salary: Between £40 – £42k per annum Overtime: Overtime is calculated at time plus a half Monday to Saturday. Sundays at Double time. Working Hours: Site hours are between 7am-7pm Monday to Friday. 47.5 hour per week. About the Role: Our client is looking for a driven and knowledgeable Quality Manager to support and enhance the quality standards across their construction projects. This is a key role within the business, ensuring that their delivery teams operate to the highest standards. Key responsibilities: Develop and implement project-specific quality plans. Monitor site teams’ compliance with quality plans and ensure continuous improvement. Maintain a deep understanding of ISO accreditations and ensure alignment across all projects. Collaborate with project teams and the Group Sustainability and Quality Manager to ensure integrated delivery. Produce high-quality reports, audits, and documentation to support internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to pre-construction planning, with a focus on quality assurance. Support teams in understanding and applying best practices in quality control. About you: The ideal candidate will bring: At least 3 years’ experience in construction quality control or project delivery roles. Proven experience producing quality plans and monitoring performance against them. A strong grasp of ISO standards and contractual quality obligations. Excellent report writing and documentation skills. The ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments. An understanding of both design and delivery processes (desirable but not essential). A proactive, solution-focused approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
