RMS are working with a well-established metal fabrication company looking for an experienced Steel Fabricator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator with experience working from engineering drawings and carrying out high-quality MIG welding.
Location: Peterlee
Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 7:45AM until 4:45PM, Friday 7:45AM until 1:45PM
Contract: Temp to Perm (40 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £16.54 per hour, Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours worked.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricating and assembling steel components from engineering drawings.
- Performing MIG welding to a high standard.
- Measuring, cutting, and preparing materials accurately.
- Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Steel Fabricator.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong MIG welding experience.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety conscious.
