RMS are working with a well-established metal fabrication company looking for a reliable and hardworking General Operator to join their manufacturing team. This role would suit someone with previous experience in assembly work, factory production, or a general manufacturing environment.
Location: Peterlee
Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 7:45AM until 4:45PM, Friday 7:45AM until 1:45PM
Contract: Temp to Perm (40 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £14.58 per hour, Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours worked.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the assembly of products and components.
- Supporting production and manufacturing operations.
- Handling materials and preparing components for processing.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets.
Requirements:
