RMS are working with a well-established metal fabrication company seeking a reliable and motivated CNC Operator to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC operator looking to work in a busy manufacturing environment.
Location: Peterlee
Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 7:45AM until 4:45PM, Friday 7:45AM until 1:45PM
Contract: Temp to Perm (40 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £15 per hour, Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours worked.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading materials and finished components.
- Monitoring machine performance and carrying out basic quality checks.
- Reading and following production drawings and job specifications.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
- Working to production targets while ensuring high quality standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery.
- Good understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- FLT (Forklift Truck) Licence preferred, but not essential.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
