RMS are working with a well-established metal fabrication company seeking a reliable and motivated CNC Operator to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC operator looking to work in a busy manufacturing environment.

Location: Peterlee

Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 7:45AM until 4:45PM, Friday 7:45AM until 1:45PM

Contract: Temp to Perm (40 hours per week)

Pay Rate: £15 per hour, Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours worked.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Loading and unloading materials and finished components.
  • Monitoring machine performance and carrying out basic quality checks.
  • Reading and following production drawings and job specifications.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
  • Working to production targets while ensuring high quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience operating CNC machinery.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • FLT (Forklift Truck) Licence preferred, but not essential.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
