We are currently recruiting for a Customer Accounts Coordinator to join our client’s busy automotive team based in Killingholme!

Salary: £15.57 per hour.

Contract: Permanent

Working hours: Monday to Friday between 8AM – 6PM (40 hours per week)

Working under the supervision and co-ordination of the Workshop Operations Manager, you will be responsible to ensure the highest customer services across our site. Handling enquiries and complaints professionally, advancing the resolution process accurately and promptly to meet the satisfaction of both the company and the customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and complaints, ensuring issues are accurately recorded and resolved promptly.
  • Raise job cards and manage vehicle upgrades.
  • Price and order multi-brand vehicles from various suppliers.
  • Monitor MOT status and arrange bookings where required.
  • Verify invoices and submit them to the Finance Team.
  • Create and manage purchase orders, liaising with suppliers and following up as required.
  • Coordinate vehicle deliveries with logistics providers.
  • Manage transit damage claims through to resolution.
  • Provide customers with regular progress updates and produce reports.
  • Assist with month-end finance administration and ensure data is accurate.
  • Support the development of processes for new customers and projects.
  • Liaise with workshops, compounds and mechanical teams to ensure work is completed efficiently.
  • Check vehicle recalls and arrange servicing with local dealerships.
  • Collate weekly, monthly and annual customer service data, identifying trends in complaints and enquiries.
  • Participate in training and development activities to continually improve customer service skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure all company health and safety procedures are followed.
  • Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role as required.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous customer service and administration experience, ideally within an automotive environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • The ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
